Join us on Saturday May 6th and 7th for a weekend of scenic driving through state and national parks! We will drive over 350 miles over two days with an overnight stop in lovely Palm Springs. On Sunday, we will explore Joshua Tree National Park. We will leave early enough Sunday morning that if you wish to hike portions of the park, you will have time.

Saturday we will meet at BMW of Escondido (1557 Auto Park Way, Escondido, CA 92029) at noon. At 12:30, I will give a brief overview of the days drive and will hand out direction and a list of Points of Interest that you may indulge upon yourself. You can drive straight to Palm springs, or stop at scenic viewpoints or stores for shopping.

Sunday we will meet at Jack-in-the-Box (5200 Ramon Rd, Palm Springs, CA 92264) at 8am. at 8:30, I will again go over the day and pass out driving directions. Sunday we will drive through the Joshua Tree National Park. We are leaving early enough that you can stop and take a hike around the park if you wish. Or you can drive straight through back to San Diego, the choice is yours.

For lodging, it is up to you to make your own arrangements. The main hotel will be the Holiday Inn Express and Suites at Cathedral City, 36101 Date Palm Dr, Cathedral City, CA 92234. An alternative hotel if the Holiday Inn is filled is the Welk Resort at 34567 Cathedral Canyon Drive, Cathedral City, CA, 92234. Reservations can be made through their websites or Hotels.com. There is no group code or reservation number. If rooms are unavailable, please look for nearby hotels. Rooms are starting to fill up so reserve your room soon.
