We will meet and start in the Rancho San Diego Shopping Center. The group will motor up to Crest, on to Alpine, Cuyamaca Valley and then to Ramona for lunch. The Ramona Cafe is listed in "Roadfood," a book about unique eating establishments in the USA, by Michael and Jane Stern. You may be old enough to remember John Wayne and Roy Rogers, who stopped at the cafe a few times on their way to the desert. We will stop there some 50 years later for lunch.
